The biggest problem with a lot of RTS players is that they focus too much on their armies that they forget to provide them with the basic needs. This ends up having their military units ill-equipped and outnumbered versus the enemy. If you want a more constant growth for your army, consider upgrading farms, mines, and lumber mills all the time especially if you’re on early levels.

Keep mixing your military units for a more well-rounded group

As part of your game strategy in Guns of Glory, keep in mind that each military unit always has strengths and weaknesses. For example, you need to have a good ratio between musketmen, gunmen, horsemen, and some artillery if you’re going for a more general raid. If you scout an enemy with a lot of light cavalries, bring more musketmen. If the enemy has a battalion of riflemen, consider bringing more pikemen, and so on and so forth. Always read each unit and what enemies they’re best against.
