You pretty much have no hope of figuring it out without a guide, and all the good stuff requires lots of grinding and access to almost every stage. And then that cyber elf system on top of it.

EV3 is built by real life drag racers. The fun of drag racing is driving, not just pushing buttons. In EV3 you actually drive the car using realistic variable gas pedal, steering, braking, realistic suspension and engine/torque response. It's all there. When you drive a car in EV3 you actually experience all the thrills and spills of real racing. Ev3 drag racing apk mod.

The fact that going up a rank on one of the three bars only give you the stated effect and not all the prior effects is annoying as hell. The other games let you become a god if you were willing to tank your ranking. Z4 lets you become godlike, but it's the most limited kind of godhood out of the four games.I still love it, but damn their insistence on reinventing the wheel.

Purprill Level 4! Not too bad.easiest to hit him from behind when he does the 'Yahoo!' Climbing attack, but I took a bunch of hits waiting for that. Luckily I have SubTanks! Just used ZX Charged Saber.I need to go refight these bosses to see if they're hard to take down when you're not worried about Level 4. I feel if I wasn't focused on not hitting their weakpoints their patterns seem easier to dodge overall than Zero's.Man, I thought Model P was cooler?

For some reason I thought it had like spike immunity. But, nah, cool shurikens but otherwise it's the grab ledge mechanic from Zero 4 basically. Going through Mega Man Zero (intending to go through the collection in order with the original save system), and I have a few levels down at this point. All in all, I'm having a blast, although there are some confusing / frustrating things that make me miss the simplicity of the classics / first four X games.

A couple questions:1. Should I be restarting from save every time I die? I get the impression that this is the way to go, but, man, they really punish you with dialogue, slow objectives, etc.2. I'm reading that you're punished for using elves.

To what extent is it okay to dabble in these?I appreciate your help! Dying a lot will screw up your score, and so will using elves. In Zero 1 ranks are only for bragging rights (with one insane exception you should not care about in your first playthrough+one extra boss attack per boss). I do recommend restarting after losing all your lives instead of every time you die to make learn the level/boss easier and faster; and then resetting upon death if you fail again in the 'actual' run. Do remember to always save before missions so you don't lose all your lives and have to fail the mission, which might make you lose on upgrades as Birdie said. The only weapons in Z1 are acquired simply by talking with the scientist at the bottom level of HQ and the elemental chips that you get no matter your rank from specific bosses (Aztec Falcon, Guard Orotic, Blizzack Staggroff). With that said, I do encourage you to try and aim for A rank if you don't mind restarting levels a bunch of times, it's really fun and the level design rules. Rankings don’t do much in Z1 and Z4, but Z2 and Z3 gives you EX Skills if you clear a stage if you have an A or S rank before going into it.2.

Again, if you care about rankings. Each elf you use subtracts your score. The permanent ones (like life up elves) affect it permanently while the temporary ones lower your score for that stage. So you can reach a point where it will be impossible to even get an A rank. But you can go crazy at the final stages where ranks don’t really matter anymore if you’ve managed to get all the EX skills. And there’s also the elves that change your rank to A for the stage, so you can use them for the last few EX skills as well. LX is basically unusable out of water in ZX, and even then it's bad; the spin slash is awful. PX literally cannot hit a lot of enemies thanks to the lack of vertical range.

FX exists I guess. The only ZXA form that is legitimately not usable outside of one environment is Chronoforce and for good reason; though its charge attack still is universally useful and required for a couple of out of water gates. Just a quick question on casual scenario mode in ZX:So I played through Zero 1-4 with relative effortlessness using casual scenario mode.

But in ZX it seems.slightly harder? The health bar is pretty small and you only have one, as opposed to two in the MMZ games.

Am I missing something in properly activating this stuff? Also, the 'map' as well as the Metroidvania design is either pretty weird or just plain bad. I just beat the first 'real' mission, but I had to look up how to get to the correct location (E1). Finally done with ZXA. Man what a stinker to end of this overall great collection. Got X6 vibes from level design gimmicks and the mostly terrible bosses.Overall though it's a good set of games in this collection.

Zero 2,3 and ZX being the high points, Z1 and Z4 mid and ZXA the lowest.Wonder if they ever will return to this story about the biometals. I mean the Z,P,H,F and L metals are surely destroyed right? Leaving only X and A(with copied data) left.
