I played the hell out of Trials HD and Trials Evolution and was excited for a new game but damn, this is a really big step down from Evolution. I'm already tired of the futuristic theme, the menus, the sign up for uplay message bullshit, track centrals UI, the music, the fact that I bought the retail copy of the game so I have to have the physical disc inside my console or else pay another 20 bucks on top of the 40 I already payed, the fact that the user base is now split between PS4/Xbox so you will only see half of the great user created tracks.I blame UBI for this monstrosity. Waitafuckingminute.The theme is just that - a theme. It stops the game going stale over time from abandoned warehouse to abandoned warehouse (ala Trials HD/Evo). The really crappy part for me is playing through all the tracks with asstons of hidden challenges, and not being able to complete a lot of them at first. Adding complication doesn't necessarily add to the replayability, though that is what they seemed to have assumed. Like they wanted more focus on in-game tracks and less on the track central userbase, which is really where all the fun is.And don't even get me started on uplay. Which the game hasn't been able to connect to since I purchased it.

I just feel like there's a lack of content. No gigatrack, no multiplayer and you just feel like it's a collection of 40 tracks that last 30-60 seconds a piece. The platinum medals are occasionally very strict, but other times they are above and beyond easy, and it doesn't feel balanced at all. Also, I'm not a track editor, but I hear that items are pretty limited.Also, the biggest problem is probably the platform split between the 4 options, but I'm on the most populated one, so I won't lose out as much.

I'd be nice if they took the best 5 tracks every month and shared them across the platforms or something.
